Posted September 20, 2018 05:11:06 A restaurant in the Perth CBD was forced to close after a complaint by the owners.
The Golden Dragon restaurant, at St Andrew’s Square, has been open for four years and has been the site of a number of complaints.
“It was definitely not a pleasant experience, it’s not a welcoming atmosphere,” a customer at the restaurant told ABC Perth.
“They should be proud of the gold in there.”
The restaurant has received a number on social media from people saying it’s too much gold and they want to move.
“I’ve been here four years, I love the gold and I love having my money back,” a patron said.
“We had to make some other choices, we were happy with the experience, but they didn’t have the gold.”
The owners of the restaurant have said they will be making a decision about their future shortly.
“The owners and staff are extremely disappointed,” a statement from the Golden Dragon owners said.
