The Golden Globes are over, and we’re still waiting for the winners.
But there’s still something that’s worth thinking about.
The winners of the most recent ceremony in Los Angeles, for example, are China’s Golden Globe winners, the Guangdong Province Golden Globe Awards, the prestigious award for the best film, television or musical performance by a Chinese actor.
This is a gold medal.
It is a prize worth celebrating, even if it’s only for the two of us.
And while it’s not an award for a Chinese individual, it’s a prize for China as a whole.
That means that the winners of China’s Golden Globessos can be judged on the merit of their work.
They can be judged on how they performed the Golden Globes.
They can be judged on how well they performed in their roles as China’s cultural icons.
As China celebrates its 50th year of Golden Globe awards, we should celebrate the Golden Globel winners on the basis of their accomplishments.
The Golden Globe is not a medal awarded to a Chinese national.
But if China is a cultural superpower, it can celebrate the Golden Globellas.
And that’s exactly what it is.
